Lindsey & Mitch//Riverdale Manor Wedding

Oh my goodness, how do I even started to describe how incredible Lindsey and Mitch's incredible wedding day was? Right from the very moment I got the inquiry from Lindsey about photographing their wedding, I knew I wanted to be a part of this celebration. When we met up to photograph their engagement session back in December, it was as if we had been friends for years. These two exude SO much joy, it's contagious! They giggled and smiled and loved on each other in such a genuine way (exactly what every photographer dreams of!) and I was counting down the days until their wedding.

I arrived at Riverdale Manor on a beautiful summer day and instantly felt so welcomed by Lindsey and Mitch's family and friends. The details were stunning, the grounds were beautiful, and I knew this was going to be a day to remember. Lindsey wanted to do a family first look, and it was so sweet to see both her dad and brother's reactions! They both also decided they wanted to do a first look with each other prior to the ceremony, and WHOA, was it incredible! I was tearing up from behind my camera as Mitch burst into tears upon seeing his bride...the most beautiful moment!

The beauty continued on through the day as they united as husband and wife under the sycamore tree, during a joyous and worship-filled ceremony. Lindsey and Mitch could not be ANY happier to *finally* be married, as you can tell by their smiles below. They ended the day with delicious food, a fun dance party, and a sparkler exit cheered on by their nearest and dearest. It was truly one of the most beautiful wedding days I have had the honor to photograph!

Lindsey and Mitch, I am SO incredibly happy for you both! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day - it was such a joy and a true honor. You two are going to continue doing amazing things for the Kingdom, now as a MARRIED couple! So much love to you both!

Introducing Jude Andrew: Lifestyle Newborn Session

Another week, another post about my son...sorry for the overload of adorable baby photos these days ;) A few weeks after Jude was born, I asked my dear friend Andrea of onethirtynine photography to come over to our home to photograph us as a family. I am so grateful and appreciative of these sweet photos that capture us in our natural setting, just as we are. Jude won't be this tiny forever, and I am so thankful I have these photos to remember his tiny newborn self by. Every day he is growing SO much and as a mama, it is both heartbreaking and so amazing to see...I'm sure all mamas can attest to that!

Thank you so much, Andrea, for capturing these wonderful moments of us as a family of three! You are amazing!

Samantha & Austin//Cork Factory Hotel Wedding

I'll admit I was a bit nervous about my first wedding back after having baby Jude. After not having photographed a wedding day for three months, I was scared I would be rusty and that I would spend the day worrying about my baby and how he was managing at home without me. As excited as I was for Samantha and Austin's beautiful wedding day, I was nervous about leaving Jude for the first time since he was born.

From the minute I walked into the bridal suite at Cork Factory Hotel, though, all of my nerves were gone. Samantha and her beautiful bridal party were so incredibly sweet, and I could tell this was going to be such a perfect day. The details were stunning, the ceremony and reception spaces were designed beautifully, and the love and joy shared because Samantha and Austin was just so evident (and the joy, contagious!). They didn't let a little rain impede on their wedding day plans, and the rain even added a cozy element to the day. A crazy, fun dance party filled the dance floor and they partied all night long. It truly was the most perfect day.

Samantha and Austin, it was such an honor photographing your wedding day! I am so incredibly thankful for such kind, genuine couples like you two. I wish you two all the happiness in the world for your future together!
