Landis Valley Museum Wedding | Nancy & Sam

Oh my goodness. What an honor and a joy it is to share Nancy and Sam’s wedding day! As soon as I got their initial wedding inquiry, I just knew I needed to work with these two. After getting to know Nancy through email and finally getting to meet both of them at their engagement session, there was no doubt that their wedding day was going to be one of my favorites ever. And you know what? I was TOTALLY right.

Their wedding day at Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was nothing short of perfection. The entire week leading up to their wedding, rainstorms and gloomy weather were in the forecast (I swear, this has been the rainiest wedding season ever). The threat of rain never dampened their spirits, though, and even when their planned outdoor ceremony got moved inside, these two were all smiles. After all, this was their WEDDING DAY and absolutely nothing could steal their joy!

Nancy and Sam shared in the absolute sweetest first look (totally teared up from behind my camera, as usual) and built in so much time into their timeline for portraits. I’m telling you, these two are just the best! The rain held off long enough for us to get ALL of their portraits and wedding party photos outside before it started to rain right before the start of their ceremony - such a blessing! Their reception was nothing short of an epic party, complete with a pizza truck catering dinner (!!!) and an awesome run-through-tunnel send-off. The most magical day, indeed.

Meet Chloe! | 2018 Second Shooter

I am so excited to introduce the newest member of the Jenna Brianne Photography team... Chloe! This sweet lady joined the JBP team as a second shooter a few months ago and it has been such a joy getting to know her. Chloe had reached out to me about a possible mentorship shortly after I had posted about finding a permanent team member for my 2018 season. We met for coffee, chatted photography/life/Jesus, and after just getting to know her for a short time, I knew she would be the perfect fit! She's super sweet, so talented, and makes people feel so comfortable and welcomed around her. I'm honored to have Chloe as a second shooter for this 2018 wedding season and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her and JBP!

Get to know Chloe below and go follow her on Insta @chloecrager!

1) Please introduce yourself and tell us a little more about you!

Hey! I’m Chloe and I was born and raised in Lancaster, but I currently live in State College where I’m attending Penn State! This fall I’ll be a junior majoring in Communication Arts and Sciences - I love what I’m studying, but know that my true passion is photography... I’m also a Young Life leader, textbook extrovert, people lover, and follower of Jesus.

2) What first sparked your interest in photography?

I think I first realized I loved photography the summer after high school when I started doing random photoshoots with my friends. Over time, I remember being more and more excited any time I got to have a camera in my hands. Now it’s become my main creative outlet, a way to serve and love others, and one of my absolute favorite things to do!

3) What draws you to wedding photography in particular?

I think wedding photography is SO exciting because it’s such a celebration of love. I can’t think of much I would rather do than take photos of couples on their most special day - it’s a really unique blessing to get to capture emotions and images that couples will look back at and remember for decades to come.

4) Outside of taking photos, what do you love to do?

I probably spend almost 98% of my life in coffee shops (kidding...kinda). I also love reading, watching New Girl, petting any and all dogs, thrift shopping, and consuming a borderline unhealthy amount of pad thai.

5) What are you looking forward to learning and growing in this year? (Can be photography or anything else!)

I’m excited to learn more about the role of a wedding photographer on the big day, and specifically to learn anything and everything I can from Jenna because her talent is unreal… I’m also really excited to grow by pushing myself to take risks in both photography and just life in general.

6) Super important question...what's your go-to order at Starbucks? ;)

Mmmm usually a plain cold brew, but if I’m feeling fancy a cinnamon dolce latte for sure!

A Cork Factory Hotel Wedding Day || Megan & Jared

Megan and Jared's gorgeous Cork Factory Hotel Wedding day was the PERFECT way to start my 2018 wedding season. On a chilly, snowy February day, these two said "I Do" in front of their nearest and dearest and embraced all that Mother Nature had to offer. Megan was prepared for the chilly weather with a gorgeous fur stole, and provided beautiful shawls for her best ladies. Every detail was planned to perfection, and the Cork Factory Hotel was the most perfect setting for their elegant wedding day.

Enjoy some highlights from Megan and Jared's wedding day....
